The problem

The photo is mostly fine but the white balance leans warm, the verticals are slightly tilted, the flash bounced a hot spot off the kitchen tile. Photo enhancement is the baseline pass that brings every listing photo to a single legible standard.

The standard

  1. Colour cast corrected toward neutral, never toward fashion-magazine warm.
  2. Verticals straightened only when the shift is small enough to keep the framing.
  3. Dust spots and flash reflections removed; the room behind them stays the same material.

The handoff

Hi-res JPG sized for portal and print. The manifest notes which corrections were applied.

Companion tools

Photo enhancement is the baseline cleanup before any other tool runs. Pair it with the rest of the Cleanup & quality group for a complete exterior pass.

When Vesta runs it

Step 05 of the New Listing Kickoff run — applied across the full set as the small-fix pass.

Field notes

Read the studio note on white balance that leans neutral, not fashion-warm.

In their words

Why agents made the switch.

  • My phone shots come out flat and slightly yellow under the recessed lights. One enhancement pass corrected the white balance and sharpened the trim, and the whole set looks like a hired photographer shot it.

  • A dim north-facing condo always photographs gray and lifeless. Cleaning up the light, color, and sharpness brought the hardwood and the paint back to true. The listing got more showings than the unit upstairs.

  • I batch dozens of interiors a week and consistency is the hard part. Running enhancement evened the white balance across the whole set so the photos match. Every shot reads sharp and natural, never processed.
    Darnell Hughes
    Listing Photographer · Memphis
  • A rushed afternoon shoot left my bedroom shots soft and cool-toned. One cleanup pass corrected the temperature and tightened the detail on the bedding. It looks like a photograph straight off a good camera, and nobody flags it.
