№ 04 — Standards
The standards we render to.
How we hold the room together when we put furniture in it, and how we hold your data when we render it. Read like a colophon, not a badge wall.
01 — Room bones
Windows, beams, sightlines, and structural lines do not move between the raw photo and the render. If a window is twelve panes, the render keeps twelve panes. If the ceiling beam runs left, it runs left in the output. A render that fights the architecture is one a viewer can feel — even if they could not articulate it.
The studio refuses a render that violates this. The tool returns the raw upload with a note rather than a render that looks photographer-shy.
02 — Light
Light belongs to the time of day. A morning frame holds morning light; a dusk frame holds dusk. The renderer reads the shadows in the source image and stages the room to the same sun. If the lamp on the side table is on, the lamp on the side table reads as on. If the kitchen pendant is off, no phantom glow appears beneath it.
03 — Materials
Wood reads as wood. Linen reads as linen. Stone reads as stone. The renderer is not allowed to substitute a material it has trouble drawing for one it draws more easily — a warped oak floor stays warped oak, even when the listing would be flattered by a polished marble. The room is a photograph of itself, not of a more flattering possibility.
04 — Training-set policy
Photos uploaded to Vestaro are not used to train any model — ours or anyone else’s. They are rendered once, returned to you, and held only as long as the plan retention schedule says they are held.
The studio does not run a data-licensing side business. No frame from your listing is quietly contributing to a generic interior-rendering corpus elsewhere on the internet.
05 — Retention schedule
Uploads and renders are kept for the duration of the active plan and deleted on a rolling schedule after cancellation. You can purge a listing at any time from the studio dashboard, and a hard delete is a single API call away on plans that ship API access.
The default is a 30-day retention window after cancellation, after which uploads and renders are purged. Active plans keep your library available for as long as the plan runs.
06 — Transport and access
Uploads move over TLS. Storage is encrypted at rest. Studio team members get access through email-based sign-in with optional SSO on higher plans; render delivery is gated per project, not per organisation. The studio does not log into customer accounts without explicit consent, and the support team works against anonymised metadata where possible.
07 — Who answers
Questions on standards, compliance, or unusual data-handling needs reach a working operator at [email protected]. The studio is not behind a ticketing queue.
