№ 01 — For Zillow Showcase listings
Photos that earn the
Showcase badge.
Zillow Showcase is the immersive listing tier — interactive floor plan, more and larger photos, AI virtual tours, and a higher media bar. Vestaro is the still-photo input that feeds the Showcase gallery: it stages the immersive hero and the rest of the set in about 15 seconds each, on one consistent register, at full resolution.

Why Showcase raises the bar
Showcase is an immersive experience, not a paid Zillow upgrade.
A higher photo bar than standard Zillow
Standard Zillow accepts any in-spec MLS photo. Showcase shows more and larger images on an immersive detail page, so a vacant room or a mismatched style is far more obvious. Vestaro keeps the whole set on one editorial register so the gallery holds up at full size.
Bigger photos mean every flaw is visible
Showcase listings get materially more views and saves
Zillow positions Showcase listings prominently, with a distinct badge and an immersive layout, and reports a meaningful lift in views and saves over standard listings. The lift only holds if the photo set delivers on the badge’s promise.
Showcase badge + immersive detail page
One input among several — the still-photo layer
Showcase combines an interactive floor plan, an AI virtual tour, and a richer photo set. Vestaro feeds the photos — the hero, the gallery, and the still frames buyers see between tour moments. The floor plan and tour are separate inputs; the photos still carry the click.

Workflow
Feed Vestaro photos into the Showcase gallery.

- 01
Upload your listing photos.
Showcase listings usually start from a high-end shoot. RAW, processed JPEG, or photographer-delivered finals — Vestaro accepts standard image files and keeps the input resolution.
- 02
Stage in about 15 seconds per photo.
Pick the room and style. Multi-angle consistency is the default, so a 30–50 photo Showcase set reads as one home across the immersive gallery.
- 03
Assemble the Showcase package and publish.
Download full-resolution JPGs, pair them with your floor plan and virtual tour, and submit the Showcase listing. Add the MLS-required “Virtually Staged” caption per your local rules.
Image specs
Showcase’s photo requirements — and how Vestaro matches them.
Showcase asks for more photos at a higher resolution than standard Zillow, rendered into a large, immersive layout. These are the numbers that matter when you submit.
Minimum dimensions
The platform
~1,536 px wide accepted, but the immersive hero looks soft below that
What Vestaro outputs
Output preserves the input resolution — a photographer file stays full-size after staging, so nothing softens for the large Showcase layout.
Recommended dimensions
The platform
4K (~3,840 px on the long edge) or higher for the immersive hero and full-screen gallery
What Vestaro outputs
Common photographer deliveries (3000–6000px wide) pass through unchanged, so the immersive hero stays crisp on retina laptops and 4K monitors.
Aspect ratio
The platform
The immersive hero is roughly 16:9; the gallery is mixed; floor-plan and tour assets have their own ratios
What Vestaro outputs
Staging fits the photographer’s frame — Vestaro does not re-crop, so horizontals stage cleanly for the 16:9 hero and the full-screen gallery.
File format
The platform
JPEG preferred; PNG accepted but re-encoded
What Vestaro outputs
JPEG export by default at high quality — well under Showcase’s practical upload caps.
Photos per Showcase listing
The platform
Showcase expects a fuller set — roughly 30–50 photos; a thin set reads as a weak submission
What Vestaro outputs
Per-render pricing scales to the full set — staging 36 photos runs about $26 on the Pass tier.
Other required assets
The platform
Interactive floor plan and an AI virtual tour are part of the Showcase tier
What Vestaro outputs
Vestaro covers the still-photo input. The floor plan and tour come from your Showcase shoot or partner — Vestaro-staged photos slot in alongside both.
Floor plan and virtual tour are out of scope for Vestaro — bring them from your Showcase shoot or partner.
Values reflect Zillow Showcase eligibility and rendering behavior as of mid-2026. Showcase requirements vary by market and agent tier — always verify in your Zillow dashboard before submitting.
Display slots
The Showcase surfaces you’re actually optimizing for.
Showcase renders into a larger, more immersive set of surfaces than standard Zillow — Vestaro output has to perform on each one.
Immersive detail-page hero
Showcase listings open with a large, near-full-bleed hero — much bigger than the standard Zillow detail-page hero. The first photo carries even more weight here than on free-tier Zillow.
Vestaro fit. Strong, editorial composition that holds up at full size — every detail readable at 4K, no busy mid-tones that flatten on a large screen.
Photo-and-floor-plan view
Showcase pairs the photo set with the interactive floor plan on the same page, so buyers move between a room photo and its position on the plan. Photo and plan should feel like one product.
Vestaro fit. Multi-angle consistency keeps each room coherent between the photo and the floor-plan highlight — same furniture register, same color story.
Showcase badge in search results
Showcase listings get a distinct badge in the buyer search feed, and buyers learn to associate it with a higher-quality presentation. The photo set has to deliver on that promise.
Vestaro fit. A consistent editorial register that justifies the badge — no quality drop between the feed thumbnail and the immersive detail page.
Virtual-tour preview frames
The AI virtual tour shows still preview frames before it plays. Showcase-savvy agents make sure those previews match the staged photo set rather than showing a different, unstaged angle.
Vestaro fit. Stage the photo set first, then pick tour preview frames that match the staged angles — Vestaro-staged photos slot in as the preview stills.

Showcase agents on Vestaro
How Showcase-eligible agents actually use it.
Showcase blows the photos up huge, so anything that was just okay on standard Zillow falls apart. I stage the whole set on one register before it goes live — the immersive gallery finally looks like one home.
Priya N.Listing Agent, San Diego, CAI bring the floor plan and the tour from my photographer, and Vestaro handles the still photos. The hero and the gallery are where buyers actually slow down, so that is the part I never cut corners on.
Greg H.Premier Agent, New York, NYFifteen-second renders mean I can stage a full forty-photo Showcase set the same afternoon the shoot lands. The cost per photo is low enough that I do every room, not just the front rooms.

What Showcase-eligible agents ask before signing up
Common questions
Zillow Showcase is the immersive, media-rich tier of Zillow listings. It adds an interactive floor plan, an AI virtual tour, a richer immersive hero on the detail page, and a Showcase badge in search results. Showcase listings see materially more views and saves than standard listings — but the photo bar is higher, since every image renders larger.
No. Vestaro covers the still-photo input — the layer that carries the click. The interactive floor plan and AI virtual tour come from your Showcase shoot or a tour partner. Vestaro-staged photos sit alongside both: they’re the still frames buyers see in the hero, the gallery, and the tour previews.
Yes. Showcase follows the same MLS disclosure rules as standard Zillow — typically a “Virtually Staged” label in the photo caption or remarks. Vestaro output is policy-neutral; the disclosure is the listing agent’s responsibility per local MLS rules.
Showcase listings run a fuller set than standard Zillow — roughly 30–50 photos. A thin set reads as a weak submission and undersells the immersive layout. Vestaro per-render pricing keeps the full set economical — about $26 to stage 36 photos on the Pass tier.
Yes — the immersive hero and full-screen gallery render much larger than standard Zillow, so 4K input is worth it. Vestaro preserves the input resolution, so a 4K photographer file stays 4K after staging and holds up on retina and 4K screens.
The MLS doesn’t treat Showcase differently — Showcase is a Zillow-side layer on top of MLS-fed photos. As long as you disclose virtual staging per your local MLS rules and the staging preserves structural elements (walls, floors, windows), there’s no MLS-side rejection risk. Vestaro staging leaves the room’s structure intact by design.
